Originally created the Lavender gnome shell theme compatible with gnome3.2, then i morphed one of my favourite gtk3 theme "Drakfire Dream Suite" to match the Lavender shell.
i used a matching icon set to go with the Lavender color scheme. gnome-colors seemed to suit best (as shown in bottom right image of preview) IMO.
I ve packaged both the gtk and shell theme in one zip file. Extract the zip file to ~/.themes folder and choose using gnome-tweak-tool.
REQUIREMENTS: Gnome 3.2 MGSE (optional for Mint Gnome Shell Extension)
Acknowledgements: Link to Drakfire Dream Suite :[link]
UPDATE LOG: 14.12.2011 a) Changed the look and feel of the gnome-shell theme. b) Added bottom panel and configured to go with top panel (for MGSE users) If you do not have the necessity for a bottom panel, simply go to gnome-shell.css file and delete the content showing Bottom Panel. c) Icons: Awoken colored with 10/50/10 as shown in preview d) Wallpaper used in 2nd image => [link]
17.12.2011 Fixed issues with some apps (Audacious) and modified color gradient to give a more pleasant look.
