What's a GTK Widget? How do you configure the GTK theme to use while in E17?

download lxappearance. thats the program that will help you change the widget. all your gtk themes will be shown there. even icons and pointers can be customized using lxappearance. if you are on ubuntu or deb based distro, you should find it in the repo. instead of metacity window manager, e17 theme selector will take care of window decoration. you can also find lots of e17 themes too...

I'm using arch, and I've been fiddling around a bit with E17 and installed a huge package of themes. I already have lxappearance since I also have configured an openbox desktop (soon I'll look into fluxbox as well)

i love juggling around too and i seem to be enjoying Mate / Flux and e17 on my mint 13 mate edition !
talking of openbox, i am having dependancy probs in OB and i have to figure out on that !
